NO MSG

Knicks want the Atlantic Division, the Cs they won't pardon,
Cs take on the Knicks in Madison Square Garden.
Each man on the Knicks needs his own Celtics handler,
Bulging back disk, now pinched nerve, no Tyson Chandler.

JET hates the Heat, he said in statements so bold,
Especially loves Boston--there's NO heat--it's cold!
Jeff Green, when first in Boston, thought KG was insane,
After these years thought his intensity "...would've fried his brain."

He's been quietly working hard--first score by Bass,
Cs' first turnover--to Doc the ball Pierce did pass.
Early Q1 those words, "Paul Pierce For Three!"
Wonder how many shots from Carmelo we'll see.

Green hard to the hoop, then at the clock buzzer a three,
Offensive struggles--not defensive--still plaguing AB.
Lee first off the Cs' bench, part of the Cs' 12-1 run,
Two early fouls on Bass, Tommy's not having fun.

Toward the end of Q1 an appearance by Shav,
He's a great addition--a rebounder we have!
Knicks went on a 9-2 run,
Cs down 5 at the end of Q1.

Doc's advice: before offense, gotta play D.
Several Knicks lights out shooting of the three.
Cs can't try to match the threes of this Knicks' group
Crawford (great passer!) to Lee--alley-oop!

"Step your game up" on a band on JET's wrist.
14-2 run by the Knicks, very few threes missed.
Cs not helping themselves from the free throw line,
Novak and Copeland played in Q2 just fine.

Cs briefly good ball movement, PP For Three,
Doc got a tech--glared at the ref!--bad call on AB.
Q2 Jeff Green the only C who was able to score,
Because Green the only C putting the ball on the floor.

Season high against the Cs, in Q2 and at the half,
Knicks 11 for 16 threes, enjoying a good laugh.
End Q2 Felton let it fly, used the glass, made that three,
Doc is agitated--Cs down 17 to start Q3.

Shumpert for three, he joined the fray,
What can the Cs do? Knicks are having a day.
Captain P For Three, Captain P For Three,
Plus tonight the only rebounder is...PP.

Pierce is doing it all, at both ends, playing large,
Drew the fourth foul on 'Melo taking a hard charge.
Green great shooting, many ways he can score,
Q3 Cs pushing the ball harder up the floor.

Fifth foul on AB, Cs' bench not helping much,
Find ourselves praying JET--someone?--finds his touch.
J. R. Smith is having no trouble, he can score,
Cs down 17 to start Q4.

Cs trying to get into the game by shooting threes,
How about driving to the hoop? Wanna see THOSE  Cs.
Doc's not happy with Wilcox, needs to up his game,
Used tonight to work the new guys, Q4 in they came.

T. Will always carries a ball, just quietly, no fuss,
Heard he even dribbles the ball up the stairs of the bus!
Green and Pierce were great, the only two,
The Coaches have a lot of work to do.

We haven't had a practice in a really long time--
Cs lost by  19--I am out of rhyme.

CLEVELAND ROCKS!

Cs' ever-changing starting line-up's an interesting sight:
Pierce, Bass, Bradley, Green and Wilcox tonight.
Five of seven top Cs are injured in some way,
Doc has to re-invent the team every time we play.

Cavs offensive rebound well, turn it over not much,
Hope Green can be consistent, and find his touch.
Two active coaches 400 games as player/coach won,
Doc Rivers is our guy! Cavs' Byron Scott's the other one.

Q1 Zeller came out strong for the Cleveland group,
Cs answered with Pierce--and Green!--hard to the hoop!
Cs' starting five good assists numbers, playing some D,
Bass, Wilcox good energy--and (good for him) Bradley For Three.

T. Will came in as point guard, two early fouls on AB,
Wilcox two early fouls, Shav Randolph we did see.
As always, refs' reviews take five minutes or more,
Even the most diehard fans this tactic does bore.

Cs up 6 to start Q2,
Pierce For Three, fun (and scary)--what Crawford can do.
After a 12 point lead, Cs turnovers and gambles creeping in,
Gave the Cavs opportunities, hard for the Cs to get a win.

Whether rebounding, scoring, catching a good pass,
Cannot underestimate the progress of Bass!
Love Wilcox on the wing, with that beautiful dunk,
Captain P has to get out of his turnover funk!

Cs stopped attacking the paint, up 1 start Q3,
Green got involved, more of Bass we should see!
Cavs --mostly Ellington--came out hot,
Cavs a 17-4 run, Cs can't make a shot.

Cavs were in full control til finally JET For Three,
11-4 run for the Cs, still not much scoring AB.
Cs down 6 to start Q4,
When Crawford shoots it's, "Ugh! No! don't...." Aaah, score!

Gibson is tough, shooting three after three.
When Crawford gets the ball, there WILL be something to see.
Cavs making threes from all over the court,
Cs playing like defense isn't part of this sport.

Cs went on a 21-6 run,
No foul called for Green--what the refs have done!
Bass a season high--JEFF GREEN THE LAST PLAY,
THE CELTICS WIN!! NOT going away!

"EXIT, PURSUED BY A BEAR." Shakespeare

Third game in four nights, now feeling broken-hearted:
No Lee (ankle), no KG (foot)--before we even got started.
First time since Rondo's out we've lost three in a row,
T. Will, Randolph, Crawford, D.J. White will all go.

Memphis' Gasol's out, ab issue, reinjured a tear
Randolph won't start--on time he wasn't there.
First score for the Griz, Tony Allen we did see,
Cs: Bass hard to the hoop, then Green For Three.

Cs went on a 12-0 run,
AB loud dunk--he is so much fun!
Conley, it seems, wherever he wants he goes,
Griz a 15-6 run as the Cs' pace slows.

Pierce fouled Bayless hard--flagrant--both fell to the floor,
Refs debated a long time whether the late basket to score.
Turned into a four point play, Grizzlies took the lead,
Til a tough Captain P provided the offense the Cs need.

59% shooting, Cs up 2 start Q2,
Still had turnovers like we usually do.
JET For Three, then Bayless did the same,
Like to see more T. Will in the game.

Crawford hard to the hoop, Bayless gave him a shove!
Refs reviewed and reviewed--(ugh) like all the fans love!
Bayless called for the foul, then for the tech, too,
Arthur got hot--who knew what he could do?

Wilcox good block, called a foul--from across the floor,
Doc's been yelling so much, his throat must be sore.
20 first half points for Bayless, he was hot,
On offense and defense the Cs were not.

Bass had some good moments, Cs down 10 start Q3,
Some of my favorite words, "Pierce For Three,"...three!
Pardon the rhyme, but the Cs are struggling on D,
Griz too much hustle, Bayless for three.

Randolph is a load, and upon receiving a pass,
He "fell" face down, being fronted by (and foul on) Bass.
Cs look disorganized, they keep fumbling the ball,
Guys are working hard--someone (more Bass) has to help Paul.

Conley hit the deck so, of course, Pierce's foul--four!
Pierce For Three--his only recourse is to score.
Crawford great pass to Wilcox-Cs 7-0 run,
Cs down 12 when Q3 was done.

Bayless continues to have the hot hand,
No quit in the Cs, trying to make a stand.
TA has refs' respect, double dribble Captain P?
Doc got a tech, quick make-up call we did see.

Good plays by Randolph, then Crawford For Three,
D.J. White some minutes, T. Will For Three.
Even during a tough game, there is humor still,
Carrying a ball wherever he goes is our T. Will.

TA on the bench, changes the Grizzlies' D
It's Randolph on Randolph, bloody nose for the C.
Crazy play at the end of Q4,
Crawford scoring from all over the floor!

Cs had been down by as much as twenty-one,
The Heart of the New Guys nearly got this game won!

TAKE HEART....

JET LANDING

JET's first trip to Dallas since he became a C,
Game One of a back to back, tonight in Big D.
His Maverick teammates loved Jason Terry so much,
Nowitzki says he's the best he's played with--in the clutch.

The 1998 Draft, remember way back when?
Nowitzki picked Ninth, Pierce was Ten.
Hold The Mayo--he scored first.
Cs forgetting the NOLA game, one of our worst.

Mike James, a Mav, used to be a C,
First scorer for the Cs tonight was KG.
Mavs scored a ton, took an early lead,
Better pick and roll D the Cs do need.

PP for three, Cs went on an 11-4 run,
Three Q1 easy lay-ups--they made none.
Because Dallas is in The West, it makes it harder,
To remember they've Shawn Marion and Vince Carter.

JET came in to a standing O,
On his first play to the hoop he did go.
Turnovers Q1 the Cs had four,
13-2 run by Dallas, their bench can score.

Crazy fouls on the Cs, the refs by design?
Cs start Q2 down by 9.
Q2 Cs missed so many lay-ups, but played more D,
Hard to the hoop, good, strong play, from Bass did we see.

After words from Doc, picked up the pace Courtney Lee,
Most of the Cs' rebounding was done by KG.
Bass looked inspired, great shots he did make,
Gotta love AB on that fastbreak.

End Q2 Cs sloppy play, Mavs run 10-3,
Cs down 11 to start Q3.
Q3 through KG went almost every play,
Somehow Brandan Wright is having his way.

Finally get to say these words, "Bradley For Three,"
HOFers battling--Nowitzki and KG.
Cs spent most of this game down by 12 or 10,
Cs start Q4 down 11--again.

Crawford is scary til...he makes a three!
Followed by a steal, scored again--again--did he.
Cs went on a 10-2 run,
Somehow with Pierce on the bench this was done.

Cs got the lead down to 6, then Mavs back to 10,
The theme of the night--ugh--again and again.
Crawford is flying around--all over the place,
But he adds energy and picks up the pace.

Mavs going to the hoop, seemingly at will,
Doc furious on the sideline, he has had his fill.
Pierce took few field goals until Q4,
Cs got shots, they just couldn't score.

Cs cut the lead to 5 with 1:51 to go,
Cs scoring not off the dribble but on the long throw.
Down on the ground--rolled ankle--Courtney Lee,
During which time Mayo made a three.

Mavs' Wright, high scorer, had a career night.
Cs lost by 10--sadly, sounds about right.

JEFF GREEN, JEFF GREEN--ALL HEART

KG out, then having treatment, then sick, then his thigh,
Without KG of relief Miami heaves a huge sigh.
Cs won the tip, you would've thought it was the game,
Bass led off with two, then two from AB came.

Bass hard to the hoop, Heat hard to the inside,
Heat an 8-0 run to get them off the schneid.
Example: Green getting out in front of the Heat,
It's what Miami does against the teams they beat.

Ray glad handing, Cs' coaches hands he did clench,
How brave was he--without KG on the bench?
Ray came in--lots of boos--missed two threes,
Jeff Green For Three, this the crowd did please!

Green right over Battier--over anyone's D,
Don't forget AB, Lee then Paul Pierce For Three!
With Wade on the bench, Cs a 17-0 run,
Green (leading The Green)!coast to coast--oh, what fun!

JET defending Ray, pull-up jumper in his range,
Seeing Ray in red will always look (ugly and) strange.
Cs (67%) up 12 to start Q2,
Saying "GREEN PLAYS WITH HEART," too easy to do.

I cannot in good conscience mention ray allen for three.
Early Q2 two quick fouls on Courtney Lee.
Staying with this rhyme: Jeff Green For Three, For Three,
Doc happy, this is the pace he wanted to see.

Wilcox is rebounding! Tommy says Lebron palms the ball,
Against the Heat, against Lebron? There will never be that call.
Cole to Lebron--glared at JET, usual showboating,
Ref called a tech on Lebron (JET on the ground)--he was gloating.

Coast to coast, incredible block by AB!
Love these words: Paul Pierce For Three!
Enjoy seeing Bass gathering himself under the hoop,
Chalmers with a flop--getting testy, each group.

Official Review--a long time--checking Captain P's three,
Tommy said the refs just want to be on TV.
Several fouls called on the Cs, refs trying to change the game,
Since at the other end the calls aren't the same.

Cs 17 point lead down to 6 toward end Q2,
Heat 25-14 run, helped by the refs, what to do?
Because he was "too aggressive" said the ref, foul AB,
Cs (Green 26) up 6 to start Q3.

First half Cs had one free throw point, Heat had nine,
Doc telling his guys: no turnovers--get to the line!
Heat tied the game, took the lead, at the start of Q3,
Finally stopping the damage, shot by Courtney Lee.

Cs 5 quick turnovers, sloppy with each pass,
Chalmers at the line, shot clock down--phantom call on Bass!
First foul called on Lebron--to the refs he cries,
Tech on any C with just a look of surprise.

Gutsy play by Doc and every guy in Green,
(same rhyme) Crowd yelling, "JEFF GREEN, JEFF GREEN!"
Some of the best play by this team we have seen,
JEFF GREEN, JEFF GREEN, JEFF GREEN, JEFF GREEN.

Doc, not really using the bench, playing eight guys tonight,
Somehow Pierce throughout will have to remain upright.
Love Crawford's energy--fun to see him to strip Ray,
Clean block by Wilcox of course called Lebron's way.

Did I mention JEFF GREEN? Jeff Green For Three,
Very tough charge taken by Captain P.
Cs (Green 38) up 4 start Q4,
Jeff Green For Three, then Shane Battier same score.

Up and under, Crawford hard to the hoop,
JET scored and scored, energizing this group.
Crawford popped out and took a deep three,
Green finally got a rest--when he had scored 43!

A 9-0 run by Mi-Am-Eee,
Stopped by Courtney Lee For Three!
In fastbreak points, the Cs have the lead,
Doc wants the guys to keep up their speed.

Lebron and Wade to the hoop, passing Bass is too easy,
Finally Pierce to the hoop, foul on Lebron, I feel queasy.
Chalmers for three, the lead to the Heat,
A 15-4 run from this team hard to beat.

Aggressive play from Captain P,
In the corner, AB For Three!
Lebron to the hoop as hard as we've seen,
Greeted there by...Number Eight Jeff Green!

Official Review on an out of bounds play,
Never a question--it went Miami's way.
Heat shot clock violation, Cs played great D,
10 seconds left Heat 105, Cs 103.

(another) Official Review, out of bounds, seemed off Green,
(pardon the rhyme) Ball still went to The Green.
Cs played with all Heart, but lost this game,
All I can say: it's a crying (I mean crying) shame.

This poem is so long, hope you are not snoozing,
All the Cs pulled together despite this tough losing

SCREAM, TOO

Pierce (first missed game) is resting against the Bobcats tonight,
20th in scoring, passing Barkley, at home would be right--
Just 10 more points from Captain  P....
Doc was determined to rest one of the Elderly Three.

An Orlando hip hop station has a funny idea,
They've a clock counting down hours til Dwight's outta hee-yuh!
For Pierce, starting the game Jeff Green, Number Eight,
First three minutes of this game for the Cs not great!

Cats opened the game with an 8-0 run,
This is a team ten games in a row they have not won!
Excellent ball movement from C to (shining?) C,
Love these words, "Avery Bradley For Three!"

Wilcox kept Henderson from scoring, silly tech on him.
DJ White got the call--hope he'll find his rhythm.
For the Cats, Henderson, in Q1, a great game.
Kidd-Gilchrist Feb. concussion--hasn't been the same.

Randolph got minutes--heard he's NBA's ping pong star,
Cs up 1 start Q2--not too thrilling so far.
Q2 White and Randolph showed that they can play,
"Crawford For Three," great words to say.

Q1 Bass, Q2 JET, both hard to the hoop,
Should be relatively easy against this Charlotte group.
Green heated up, found ways to make two,
More silly calls on the Cs--refs forgot what to do.

Crawford and Wilcox, great give and go,
Doc loves that--After Time Outs--ATO!
Cs playing half-court ball (ugh), finally T. Will for three,
Henderson has 21 points, Cs down 3 start Q3.

KG's shooting woes continue, Cats the only team playin'
Cs are outrebounded, and not getting to the line--I'm just sayin'.
Early Q3 Courtney Lee called for foul number four,
Cats (except AB's three) the only team to score.

Again quietly a good game from Brandon Bass.
Scal riffed about UConn guys who don't like to pass;
Cats have Gordon, Walker and Adrien to boot,
These guys, Villanueva, Rip, Ray--all like to shoot.

Cs struggle in Charlotte, they can't seem to score,
Cs down 15 to start Q4.
McRoberts opened Q4 with a loud dunk,
Only KG's second field goal--Cs still in a funk.

Early Q4 Lee picked up foul number five,
We're all waiting for the Cs to (please!) come alive.
Henderson, season high, beating us all on his own,
Half-court play, no paint, all the Cs have shown.

McRoberts a double double, Cs' effort is lame,
Doc hoped the new guys would show us some game.
Tech on Henderson, only Q4 bright spot,
See the Cats in the playoffs (no jinx) we will not.

Henderson's Dad was a Celtic, wore eighty-four,
The son, half his number, but like Dad he can score.
Trap game? No Pierce? Better than the Cats could dream.
Logical response for Cs fans? No one to blame--SCREAM!

History could be made tomorrow, a game not to be missed,
Pierce and KG 20th and 15th (pass West) all-time scoring list?

OK

We're in Oklahoma--Jeff Green's first time back,
Perk in a Thunder uniform still looks wack.
First Cs' play Captain P turnover up the floor,
KG and AB first Cs to score.

Key match-up today, Westbrook, AB, both zero,
Celtics Ball now--great movement, not hero.
Early turnovers for the Cs, maybe they're uptight,
Playing number one OKC, it only seems right.

According to Perk, from KG he learned a theme,
He's applied it in OKC, "lose your self in the team."
Exciting play, a three by Courtney Lee,
Answered at the other end by Westbrook for three.

Jeff Green Number Eight got a standing ovation,
Have to admire the graciousness of OKC nation.
Toward the end of Q1 two fouls on KD,
Cs having success with fastbreaks on OKC.

Love Jordan Crawford, he is bold!
Hope on his services Ainge is sold.
Cs uptempo pace, coast to coast Jeff Green,
Few OKC second chances we have seen.

Despite 9 turnovers, Cs down 1 start Q2,
Fun to see what T. Will as a point guard can do.
Fisher, sore knee, told the Mavs with his family needed time,
Then signed with number one OKC--a little bit of slime.

Cs' Bench is struggling, OKC finding the open floor,
OKC 10-0 run stopped by Captain P score...score.
Not much to report about Bass til his loud two,
Durant most free throws in the league--saw that's true.

Under 2:00 Q2 AB and Lee for three,
That illegal screen called, foul on KG.
Cs rebounded well, love each fastbreak point
Cs down 5 to start Q3 in OKC's joint.

Doc said guys should relax, especially Jeff Green,
AB playing some of the best D Westbrook has seen.
Early Q4, Paul Pierce For Three,
Good screens being run for Captain P.

Midway through Q3, The Truth foul four,
Cs having trouble when they try to score.
Wilcox nice lay-up on an AB pass,
Good, though quiet, rebounding from Brandon Bass.

Kevin Martin scored, shooting over JET,
Has he shown his worth traded for Harden yet?
At long last, Jeff Green a stunning dunk,
Has to lift the Cs Bench out of its scoring funk.

Bass is working hard, cannot say he is not,
But with all that effort, he must find his shot.
Q3 Cs held OKC to 18, all they could score,
Cs down 3 to start Q4.

OKC just one offensive rebound in the game so far.
A rebounding team is what the Celtics now are?
KG is struggling, missed many shots in a row,
But he does so much else, trying to get the ball to go.

Early Q4 OKC an 11-2 run,
On a tip from KG, Cs finally scored one!
Hyped-up, sloppy play at both ends of the floor,
Celtics--with opportunities--still cannot score.

Pierce great pass, AB For Three,
Doc yelling ball movement's what he wants to see.
AB great block but called a goal tend,
Could that call make a difference in the end?

JET For Three, JET For Three, beautiful sight,
Too bad for Perk who did everything right.
Under 2:00 left, Cs tremendous D,
Game was won by 12 (sadly) by OKC.

Cs worked hard, it was just a tough day,
Cs played with heart, so I guess it's...OK.

"WELCOME TO ATLANTA REMIX HEY" Jermaine Dupri

Heard a funny story on CSN's pregame,
When Doc arrived in the NBA, bought a car not lame,
So he thought about his VW Rabbit--there was talk,
Ridicule from his teammates when he was a ...Hawk.

Harris, Teague, Smith, for the Hawks, each a three,
Paul Pierce For Three, second of the season for KG!
Cs picking on Korver using Jeff Green,
Wilcox a scoring AND blocking machine?

These words again, "Paul Pierce For Three!"
34 seconds left Q1 til the first foul by a C.
Double figures PP! Cs up 2 start Q2,
JET For Three; saw what Crawford can do!

Cs went on an 8-0 run,
Great ball movement, no one and done!
Hawks 14-4 run was ended by JET (three!) and PP,
Double figures JET!  Cs up 5 start Q3.

Love when the ball is dead, other team takes a shot,
KG blocks it!--going into the hoop it is not.
AB struggling with his offense, still great D,
NO MORE TURNOVERS--please--by any C!

A thing of beauty is Lee hard to the hoop,
Gotta love the chemistry of this Cs group.
Cs playing zone, then playing man to man,
No one mixes up rotations the way Doc can.

Solid play, though he's quiet, Brandon Bass,
JET needs to stop doing that long one-handed pass.
Wow, crazy haphazard play both ends of the floor,
Pierce along the baseline, behind the hoop, finally--score!

Teague went coast to coast, coast to coast,
Up by 4 start Q4, the Cs, tonight's host.
Love a quarter that begins Crawford, then Green, For Three,
Horford not called for a foul tho on the head he slapped KG.

Green with a dunk, seemingly out of nowhere
Q4 Cs running down the clock because the shot isn't there.
Phantom fouls again on AB,
Refs don't recognize his brand of D.

Cs had a 12 point lead that got down to 3,
KG fumbled, but fouled, shot by Captain P.
Korver has a three (for the tie) now 54 games in a row,
Tie game--again--in the under-one-minute show.

Running the clock down is Captain P,
2.2 left, missed shot by KG and AB.
Easy rhyme:
OVERTIME.

In overtime the Hawks made a shot, then a shot,
Finally Pierce scored when to the hoop he got.
Then Green's ball bounced and bounced on the rim,
(held breath)--ah...score The Three for him!

Smith is having a night, season high, made a three.
Then a Deep Three For Captain P!
Foul on JET setting the screen,
JET For Three off the steal by Green!

9 straight wins at home,
End of this poem!
Celtic Pride,
What a ride!

PUT THROUGH OUR PACES

Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis tonight,
West, George, Hibbert, Hill will be a tough fight.
Pacers are second in the east, known for their D,
Frank Vogel's their coach, used to be a C.

Hibbert protects the paint, and the rim,
Good for KG--leaves openings for him.
Of this season KG,
Hit his first Three!

Pacers running like crazy up and down the floor,
Q1 Hibbert's the Pacer with the most rebounds and score.
Solid play so far from AB, Wilcox, Bass,
Looking for good ball movement with that extra pass.

Pacers are aggressive, they have power and D,
They are on fire, not so any C.
Pacers went on a 17-6 run,
Cs down 8 at the end of Q1.

Last game these teams played, in the Garden Pacers beaten,
You know circled on their calendars they had this meetin'.
Mack is not a C (Hawk),  but welcome DJ White.
Doc told his guys to get their motors running right!

Halfway through Q2 to the hoop--finally--Green!
Some of the worst officiating we have seen!
Rapid fouls against the Cs, then a defensive three,
Pacers needn't worry--Cs have no chance to play D.

Pacers have made this game very hard to play,
Wherever the Cs go there's a Pacer in the way.
One Celtic who can really rebound well?
KG--now 10th all-time, passed Wes Unseld.

Jeff Green For Three, AB For Three, then two,
That In-Between game is what Lee can do.
Right near the exit, at the buzzer,  Captain P,
C s down 7 to start Q3.

Now I know why they're called the "Pacers," very clear,
Cs having trouble scoring and finding rhythm here.
Stephenson may be a handful, but tonight he can play,
Pacers scoring in the paint, standing there all day!

Rough night at both ends for Captain P,
Love these words, "Paul Pierce For Three!"
Cs' offense is scrambled, lots of one and done,
That is not how this Pacers game can be won.

Down 10 start Q4 for the Celtics group.
JET to KG alley-oop!
Then from the corner JET For Three,
Maybe a make-up call (not enough!) for KG.

Cs went on a 20-7 run,
Double Foul (??) Hibbert & KG--REFS having fun.
JET For Three, with an answer is Hill,
George for three while the Cs stood still.

Cs a 7-0 run, The Truth For Three,
Celtics Ball we're finally starting to see.
No foul called for a knocked down AB,
Cs tie the game-AB, pass from KG.

GREEN! JEFF GREEN! GREEN! JEFF GREEN!

Streaking....

PHILLY (CHEESE?) STAKES

PHILLY, 9th in the East, seriously needs this game,
Without Bynum, Sixers'  impact is not the same.
Cs 5 games 7 nights, then 1 in 7, 4 in 6,
Great to have the new young Cs now in the mix.

KG, shake and bake,  Cs first and second score,
AB For Three, good ball movement all over the floor.
Sixers' Turner, Young and Holiday, that's Jrue,
Somehow against the Cs know just what to do.

Philly went on a 12-4 run,
Bradley coast to coast, he's the only one.
Cs need to be careful of Thaddeus Young,
As an offensive rebounder he is unsung.

Cs went on a 13-0 run,
Green For Three, JET with Wilcox--so much fun!
Cs up 3 to start Q2,
Crawford all good shots--soon the ball will go through!

Two quick (same) fouls by KG, setting a screen,
With two calls for traveling in between.
AB with the hot hand, The Truth For Three, For Three!
3 Cs in double figures, Cs up 7 start Q3.

AB sees where guys are going, beats them to their spot,
If he doesn't steal the ball, at least he alters the shot.
Into the middle of Philly's defense, twice PP awful pass,
More moments of great play from Brandon Bass.

Double double Captain P halfway through Q3,
(Same rhyme) Paul Pierce--4 of 4--For Three!
Cs' turnovers the main reason that Philly can score,
Very ugly play (Doc's not happy) at both ends of the floor.

Sixers 8-0 run, Cs up 5 start Q4,
Crawford For Three, then two--he IS able to score!
Cs went on a 9-0 run,
Crawford For Three--oh, what fun!

Been a game of runs, with turnovers galore,
AB and Crawford good work on the floor.
Captain P For Three, JET For Three!
Cs most turnovers this season, how can that be?

Cs' Bench outscored the Sixers', Cs played a careless game.
Tonight we'll take this Celtics' win--by 8--just the same.

"THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR LEAVES NO OPENING--EXCEPT IN HIS MIND." Anonymous

Many roster spots Ainge has had to fill,
10 days DJ White, full season and next TWill.
Now we have Shavlik Randolph, a big who doesn't lumber,
Grandpa was a Knick (84), Randolph (42) wears half his number.

Wednesday Steph Curry treated the Knicks quite badly,
Tonight he'll be guarded by Avery Bradley.
When Doc was asked about our new guys in the game,
He said all he really wants is to know each one's name.

Cs first score: bounce pass, KG to Lee,
(Which followed an ugly turnover by Captain P).
Bass rebounding, sweet shot and hard to the hoop,
Performing better, more relevant, for the Cs group.

When discussing the Warriors you have to say,
They have Steph Curry but also Thompson, that's Klay.
Cs excellent ball movement, AB steals and good D,
Both teams have a Green! Both teams have a Lee.

Curry's first hoop (AB out) end Q1.
"The Captain And The Truth"...got everything done!
Cs up 11 to start Q2,
Cs doing what we always hope they'll do!

KG's impact in Boston has been resounding,
Having passed Olajuwon, 11th all-time in rebounding.
Q2 Cs had trouble shooting the ball,
Into the camera guys one of the refs did fall.

Cs' Bench struggled, seemed to have no rhythm,
Only time they scored was when Pierce was with 'em.
Warriors went on a run, then AB for Three!
18 first half points for Captain P!

Cs start Q3 up by 4,
Pierce turnover--Warriors tie the score.
Warriors went on a 9-0 run,
Cs turnovers and too many shots one and done.

No fouls called on Curry, but a 5th on AB,
Phantom fouls that only one ref could see.
Green went down hard, landed on his wrist and hip,
Called an offensive foul on him on that trip.

Pierce flew down the court, a very loud two!
Finally JET for Three like he's supposed to do!
Cs went on a 13-2 run,
Cs up 7 when Q3 was done.

Green and Wilcox--I love these guys!
When Crawford gets the ball, to the hoop he flies.
Cs' Bench is scoring in the second half,
See Curry and Jeff Green sharing a laugh.

Most of Q4 belonged to Number Eight Jeff Green,
Tonight he--not Steph Curry--was the scoring machine.
He played great D, and was able to score,
Spent lots of time landing hard on the floor.

Under a minute left, with 5 fouls, AB,
Curry 6 for 22 because of AB and Lee.
CELTICS WIN, seems they enjoyed their rest,
What fun to see Green playing his best!
